Pacific Coast Branch,
Western Front Association
Headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, this Branch is part of the British Western Front Association which was inaugurated in 1980.
The Association was formed with the aim of furthering interest in the period 1914-1918 during the First World War, and to perpetuate the memory, courage, and comradeship of those of all sides, who served their countries in France and Flanders and their own homeland during the Great War.
It does not seek to justify or glorify war; it is not a re-enactment society; and it is not commercially motivated.
It is entirely non-political and application for membership will be welcomed from anyone of all ages interested in the First World War.
An objective of the Association is to educate the public in the history of the Great War with particular reference to the Western Front.
